After Covid – How to assure a sustainable performance of global executives during international assignment?
Looking at the growing interest of the topic, I am always glad to have an opportunity to share my research results on this:
By selecting and sending individuals abroad who have the ability to learn efficiently from their experiences.
They are able to transform their experiences/challenges/hardships into knowledge, leading to the development of a sort of know-how of adjustment.
This requires HR adapted tools, adapted functions and certainly a break in the search for the ideal set of global leadership characteristics, behaviors, fixed competencies that could be applied anywhere at anytime by anyone….
Who knows now what competences will be needed in the future…
